How to Use GT and GTR Coils
- Check your tank: GT coils are for the NRG, NRG-S and Cascade tanks, and GTR coils are for the FORZ tank. The table lists each coil’s tanks.
- Fit and prime: put the coil in the tank, fill it and let the coil soak for a few minutes before your first puff.
- Set the power: start at the low end of the coil’s range and work up.
- Replace it: swap in a new coil when the taste turns burnt or flat.
Good to know: the iTank T and iTank 2 on Vaporesso’s ARMOUR kits take GTi coils, a different series.

Which tanks do GT coils fit?
Vaporesso names the NRG tank for each GT coil except the GT cCELL2 0.3Ω, which it lists without a tank. It names the NRG-S for the GT Meshed and GT4 Meshed, and the Cascade for the GT4, GT8, GT4 Meshed and GT cCELL 0.5Ω. Its GT page also names the SKRR tank.
What are GTR coils for?
GTR mesh coils are for Vaporesso’s FORZ tank, from the FORZ TX80 kit. The 0.15Ω coil is rated 60W to 80W, and the 0.4Ω coil 40W to 60W.
Which GT coil should I pick?
Match the coil to your tank first. The GT cCELL 0.5Ω runs lowest, at 25W to 35W. The GT8 0.15Ω goes highest, up to 110W.
Are GT coils the same as GTi coils?
No. GTi coils are a separate series for the iTank T and iTank 2 on Vaporesso’s ARMOUR kits. We carry GTi coils too.
