Z Coil Options
Pick your coils by power. Geekvape rates every one for DTL, and the wattages below are its ratings.
| Z coil | Geekvape rating |
|---|---|
| Z 0.15Ω XM coil (Boost Version) | DTL, 70–85W |
| Z 0.2Ω XM coil (Boost Version) | DTL, 70–80W |
| Z 0.4Ω XM coil (Boost Version) | DTL, 50–60W |
| Z 0.15Ω XM coil | DTL, 70–85W |

| Z 0.25Ω Dual coil | DTL, 45–57W |
| Z 0.4Ω coil (Z1) | DTL, 50–60W |
Geekvape says the Boost Version coils use the same base as its other Z coils and are fully interchangeable, so any tank that takes Z coils takes them too. The XM coil boxes in our photos carry their ratings.
How to Use Z Coils
- Fit it: put the Z coil in your tank’s base.
- Prime it: fill the tank and let the coil soak for a few minutes before your first puff.
- Set the power: start at the low end of the coil’s range and work up.
- Replace it: swap in a new coil when the taste turns burnt or flat.
Good to know: not every Geekvape tank with a Z in its name takes Z coils. The Zeus Max takes M coils, and the Z Nano 3 takes B coils. Our coil compatibility guide shows which coils fit each Geekvape tank and kit.
