Our Nord 6 review in short: SMOK packed a 3800mAh battery into a pocket-size 80W pod mod. It also comes with two pods: a 0.4 ohm dual mesh pod and an RPM pod with a 0.15 ohm coil. As a result, you can switch from a smooth, flavor-first draw to big clouds by swapping pods.
Updated October 10, 2026
To begin with, we based this Nord 6 review on our product pages. We added the kit in May, and since then it’s been one of our top three new pod kits. Also, its RPM 4 coils go down to 0.15 ohm, so it can make big clouds.

SMOK Nord 6
The Nord 6 by SMOK is an 80W pod mod with a 1.65-inch HD screen and an airflow slider on the side. It comes with two pods, so you can pick a smooth draw or big clouds. Right now, we also have all eight colors in stock. Shop the Nord 6.
Best for: vapers who want one pod kit for smooth flavor or big clouds, with a big battery.
Good to know: It’s bigger than a slim pod kit, and the coils we sell for it top out at 60W.
Which pod should you use?
The SMOK Nord 6 takes two kinds of 5mL pods, and both click on with magnets. However, depending on the pod, you fill it from the side or the top.
- The 0.4 ohm dual mesh pod has its coil built in, so you swap the whole pod when the flavor fades. It also gives a smoother draw at lower power, and our 2-packs cost $8.99.
- The RPM pod takes RPM 4 coils, so you only swap the coil. Our empty pod costs $4.99, while the coils come in 5-packs.
Next, here’s how the two RPM 4 coils compare, with the watt ratings from our coil page:
| Coil | Watts |
|---|---|
| 0.15 ohm mesh (in the box) | 30W to 60W, best at 50W |
| 0.6 ohm mesh | 10W to 30W, best at 28W |
In general, the 0.15 ohm coil gives big clouds with an open draw, while the 0.6 ohm coil gives a tighter, cooler draw at lower power. Also, our coil 5-packs cost $13.99, and both are in stock right now.
Finally, here’s one thing we noticed in this Nord 6 review. The Nord 6 goes up to 80W, but neither RPM 4 coil we sell is rated above 60W. So the last 20W is headroom, not something you’ll need with these coils.
Battery, screen and modes
The SMOK Nord 6 has a 3800mAh battery built in, and it charges over USB-C. Meanwhile, the 1.65-inch HD screen shows your settings, and the slider on the side opens or closes the airflow. So you can go from a tight MTL draw to a looser DTL one.
It also has three modes: Normal, Smooth and Boost. Whenever you charge it, follow the FDA’s tips to help avoid vape battery fires. For example, charge it on a clean, flat surface, away from anything that can catch fire. Also, don’t use a phone or tablet charger, and don’t charge it overnight.
Nord 6 review: who should buy it?
Our Nord 6 review verdict is simple. Get it if you want an 80W pod mod that also has a big battery and a choice of pods. On the other hand, if you mostly vape nic salts at low power, a slimmer pod kit is easier to carry.
Still deciding? For example, our Aegis Hero 5 review covers a rugged 50W kit with a 6.5mL pod. Also, our XROS 6 vs Caliburn G5 guide compares two slim pod kits for nic salts. You can also browse every pod kit we carry.
