X-Priv Plus Highlights

Dual 18650, 225W

The SMOK X-Priv Plus runs on two 18650 batteries, which you buy separately, from 5W to 225W. It works with coils from 0.1Ω to 2.5Ω.

Haptic Touch Controls

SMOK gives the mod haptic touch controls, switchable themes and a vibration reminder. You fire with a large key on the side.

Magnetic Battery Cap

A magnetic cap covers the two batteries. You can also charge them in the mod over USB-C at up to 2.0A.

TF-D Subtank

The 5.5ml TF-D has top airflow and a sliding childproof top fill, and SMOK gives it four leak-resistant features. It takes D-COIL mesh coils.

Batteries

Use a matched pair of high-drain 18650s from a known brand, and charge, use and replace them together. Don’t charge batteries overnight, and carry spares in a case. The FDA has more battery safety tips.

How to Set Up the X-Priv Plus

Add batteries: take off the magnetic battery cap, fit two charged 18650s and put the cap back.
Fill the tank: slide the TF-D’s top cap to open the slot, fill it with the bottle nozzle pushed fully in, then push the cap back.
Wait: give the coil 2 to 3 minutes to soak before you vape.
Set the power: start at the low end of your coil’s range: 55W for the 0.15Ω or 45W for the 0.23Ω.

Who the X-Priv Plus Is For

The SMOK X-Priv Plus suits direct-to-lung vapers who want two-battery power, a 2.01-inch screen and a tank built to resist leaks. For one battery and a smaller body, see the X-Priv Solo. For another dual 18650 kit, see the Voopoo DRAG 5, which has temperature control.

Which batteries does the X-Priv Plus take?

Two 18650s, which aren’t included. Use a matched pair of high-drain cells from a known brand.

Which coils fit the TF-D tank?

SMOK’s D-COIL series: Meshed 0.15Ω, 0.23Ω and 0.4Ω. The kit comes with the 0.15Ω installed and a 0.23Ω, and we sell all three as SMOK D coils.

Can I charge it over USB-C?

Yes, at up to 2.0A, according to SMOK. You can also charge the cells in an external 18650 charger.

How much does the tank hold?

5.5ml. The kit also comes with a spare bulb glass.

Is it for MTL or DTL?

DTL. SMOK built the TF-D for direct-to-lung vaping and rates the 0.4Ω D-COIL for RDL and DL.

How is it different from the X-Priv Solo?

The X-Priv Solo runs on one 18650 and goes to 80W, in a smaller body. The X-Priv Plus takes two 18650s and goes to 225W. Both come with the TF-D tank and D-COIL coils.
