SMOK gives the TF-D four leak-resistant features: top fill and top airflow, a leak-proof design, a skid-proof design and a childproof lock.

Top Airflow

The air intake sits high, so air runs top to bottom to top. SMOK says this stops condensation spills and e-liquid leaks.

Sliding Childproof Top Fill

Slide the top cap to open the fill slot, then push it back. The cap has a childproof lock.

D-COIL Series

D-COIL mesh coils have 4 silicone rings, high-density antibacterial cotton and an unslotted bottom that SMOK says improves leak resistance.

How to Set Up the TF-D Subtank

Open the top: slide the top cap to expose the fill slot.
Fill it: insert the bottle nozzle fully into the slot and add e-liquid.
Close it: push the top cap back.
Wait: wait 2 to 3 minutes so the cotton soaks through before you vape.
Mount it: screw the tank onto a 510 mod.
Set it: set the power for your D-COIL (55W to 65W for the 0.15Ω, 45W to 55W for the 0.23Ω, 25W to 35W for the 0.4Ω).

Which coils fit the TF-D?

How much does it hold?

5.5ml with the bulb glass. SMOK also makes 3.5ml and 2ml versions.

What wattage should I use?

SMOK rates the D-COIL 0.15Ω at 55W to 65W (best at 60W), the 0.23Ω at 45W to 55W (best at 50W) and the 0.4Ω at 25W to 35W (best at 25W).

How do I fill it?

Slide the top cap to open the slot, fill it, push the cap back and wait 2 to 3 minutes before you vape.

Does it leak?

SMOK built the TF-D with four leak-resistant features, including top airflow, and calls it leak-free. D-COIL coils also have an unslotted bottom for leak resistance.

What size is it?
