OXVA NeXLIM 2 Review: Specs, Pods and Who It’s For
Our NeXLIM 2 review in short: OXVA took the first NeXLIM and gave it a bigger battery and a bigger screen. It’s an OXVA pod kit with 5 to 40 watts of power, and it fires when you draw. In addition, it runs NeXLIM pods in BOOST mode or ECO mode, so one pod can give two different vapes.

We based this NeXLIM 2 review on the specs from our product pages and on OXVA’s own pod guide. The kit is new, since it arrived at our store on September 24, so we don’t have enough sales yet to share numbers. Instead, we compare it with the first NeXLIM, which we’ve sold since July 2025.

OXVA NeXLIM 2
The NeXLIM 2 is an OXVA pod kit with a zinc alloy frame, a 0.85-inch color screen and three airflow settings. The leather-style versions add a textured grip, while the shiny ones have a polished finish. Its 4mL pod also clicks in with magnets, and you fill it from the top side. Shop the NeXLIM 2.
Best for: vapers who want a big battery and a 4mL pod without carrying a box mod.
Good to know: It costs $5 more than the first NeXLIM, and both top out at 40W.
What’s new vs the first NeXLIM
For this NeXLIM 2 review, we lined it up against the first NeXLIM. Here’s what changed:
- First, the battery grows from 1500mAh to 2000mAh.
- Next, charging speeds up from 5V/2A to 5V/3A.
- Also, the color screen grows from 0.56 to 0.85 inches.
- However, the first NeXLIM fires by draw or button, while the NeXLIM 2 is draw activated.
- Finally, the price goes up by $5, from $32.99 to $37.99.
Meanwhile, the 40W max and the 4mL pods stay the same. So if you already own a first NeXLIM, you can keep your spares, because both kits take the same ones.
BOOST mode vs ECO mode
Every NeXLIM pod has two mesh coils inside. First, BOOST mode fires both of them together, for a fuller, stronger vape. ECO mode, on the other hand, switches between the two coils, which gives a smoother draw and helps the pod last longer. On the OXVA NeXLIM 2, it also saves battery.
In addition, each pod has its own watt range for each mode. Here’s OXVA’s guide, from our NeXLIM pods page:

MTL means mouth-to-lung, a tighter draw, while RDL means restricted direct lung, a looser one. As a rule, start at the low end of each range and then turn it up slowly. Also, OXVA’s guide pairs every pod with salts or freebase in BOOST mode. In ECO mode, however, it suggests nic salts for the 0.8 and 1.2 ohm pods.
NeXLIM pods: cost and fit
OXVA NeXLIM pods
NeXLIM pods cost $11.99 for a 3-pack, or about $4 a pod. They hold 4mL each, fill from the top and use OXVA’s UNITECH 3.0 dual mesh coils. Also, OXVA rates each pod for up to 30 refills in its lab tests, and it says a new pod primes in about 30 seconds. Still, your results will depend on your juice and wattage. Shop the 3-packs.
Best for: anyone with an OXVA NeXLIM or NeXLIM 2 who wants spares on hand.
Good to know: Each pack holds three pods of one resistance, so pick the ohm you want.
What about XLIM pods? OXVA says XLIM cartridges fit the NeXLIM 2 with a NeXLIM adapter, sold separately. However, we don’t carry that adapter, so we suggest sticking with NeXLIM pods.
Battery and charging
The OXVA NeXLIM 2 has a 2000mAh battery, up from 1500mAh on the first NeXLIM. It charges over USB-C at up to 5V/3A. In fact, OXVA says it can reach about 80% in as little as 20 minutes with a supported charger. It also supports pass-through charging, so you can vape while it charges.
Either way, follow the FDA’s tips to help avoid vape battery fires. For example, charge it on a clean, flat surface, away from anything that can catch fire. Also, don’t charge it overnight.
NeXLIM 2 review: who should buy it?
Get the NeXLIM 2 if you want an OXVA pod kit with a long-lasting battery, a big 4mL pod and a choice of modes. It’s also an easy upgrade if you own the first NeXLIM, because your spares carry over. On the other hand, if you’d rather save $5, the first NeXLIM is cheaper, with the same 40W max and the same cartridges.
