Our DRAG 6 review in short: VOOPOO packed a 4400mAh battery and up to 220W into a box mod kit with a leather grip. It comes with the UFORCE-X 2 tank and two cloud coils, so it’s ready for big vapor out of the box. It also has temperature control and a 510 thread, so it can grow with you.

VOOPOO DRAG 6
The DRAG 6 by VOOPOO is a box mod kit with a metal frame and leather grip. You set the power with a rotating dial while the screen shows your settings. It also comes with the UFORCE-X 2 tank, which takes every PnP X coil. Shop the DRAG 6.
Best for: cloud chasers who want one kit for high-power coils, rebuildable atomizers and temperature control.
Good to know: It’s much bigger than a pod kit, and it’s built for low-nicotine e-liquid rather than strong nic salts.
Which coil should you use in the DRAG 6?
The UFORCE-X 2 tank runs VOOPOO’s PnP X coils, so pick one by how you like to draw. Here’s VOOPOO’s chart, with the draw style and watt range for each one:
| Coil | Draw | Watts |
|---|---|---|
| 0.15 ohm (in the box) | DTL | 60W to 80W |
| 0.2 ohm | DTL | 40W to 60W |
| 0.3 ohm (in the box) | DTL or RDL | 32W to 40W |
| 0.45 ohm | RDL | 25W to 32W |
| 0.6 ohm | MTL or RDL | 18W to 23W |
| 0.8 ohm | MTL | 12W to 16W |
| 1.0 ohm | MTL | 10W to 13W |
DTL means direct-to-lung, the most open draw. RDL, or restricted direct lung, is a bit tighter, while MTL, or mouth-to-lung, is the tightest. Start low in each range, then turn it up a little at a time.
This is where the VOOPOO DRAG 6 stands out. Our DRAG S3 review covers VOOPOO’s smaller 60W kit, which only reaches the bottom of the 0.15 ohm range. The DRAG 6, on the other hand, can run that coil at its full 80W with plenty of power left over.
All seven PnP X coils are in stock at our store, at $15.99 for a 5-pack. Since cloud coils use more juice, our PG and VG guide can help you pick a high-VG e-liquid that suits them.
The UFORCE-X 2 tank
The kit’s UFORCE-X 2 tank holds 5mL, and it fills from the top. Its airflow is on top too, and it uses a wide 810 drip tip. The box also comes with a spare glass tube and spare seals.
Need a second tank? We also sell the tank on its own for $33.99, in black, gunmetal or silver. Then you can keep two flavors filled and swap between them.
Temperature control and other atomizers
The VOOPOO DRAG 6 has a few modes, but two matter most. Most people use wattage mode, where you set the power with the dial. Temperature control instead caps how hot the coil gets, from 200°F to 600°F.
TC mode only works with nickel, titanium or stainless steel wire, so it’s mainly for people who build their own coils. Because the mod has a 510 thread and fires down to 0.05 ohm, it also works with other tanks, RDAs and RTAs. If you’re new to box mod kits, though, the stock tank and wattage mode are all you need.
Battery, charging and safety
One big plus in this DRAG 6 review is the battery. It holds 4400mAh and charges over USB-C. Because it’s built in, you don’t need to buy 18650 or 21700 cells or check their wraps. The 1.66-inch color screen shows your battery level too, along with your settings.
Whenever you charge it, follow the FDA’s tips to help avoid vape battery fires. Use a clean, flat surface away from anything that can catch fire, and skip phone or tablet chargers. It’s also best not to charge it overnight.
DRAG 6 review: who should buy it?
Get the DRAG 6 if you want a powerful box mod kit with a big battery built in rather than loose cells. It runs every PnP X coil at full power, and it has temperature control for when you start building coils. If you mostly vape nic salts, though, a pod kit is a better fit, since high-power vaping isn’t meant for strong salt nicotine.
Still deciding? Our sub-ohm vaping guide explains how low-ohm coils work, so start there if they’re new to you. You can also compare the rest of our mod kits.
