dotmod dotCoils are brass single mesh coils, 5 to a pack in individual blister wraps. Each has its rating printed on the box or the coil, from 60W to 80W for the 0.15Ω down to 18W to 22W for the 0.6Ω. They fit the dotAIO V2, dotAIO V2 Lite, dotAIO V3 and other dotmod tanks. How to Change a dotCoil
- Take the tank out: remove the tank from your device.
- Swap the coil: on dotAIO tanks, turn the tank upside down, pull off the airflow ring and the old coil, put the new coil in and push the ring back on until it clicks.
- Fill it: fill the tank and let the new coil soak for a few minutes.
- Set the power: stay inside the coil’s rating.
Good to know: dotmod says the 0.15Ω dotCoil doesn’t fit the dotStick Revo, dotStick Revo V1.5 or dotPod Max. The other resistances do.

What do dotCoils fit?
dotmod lists the dotAIO V2, V2 Lite, V3 and Tank V3, dotTank 25mm, dotTank Max, dotStick Revo and Revo V1.5, dotPod Max, dotAMP and dotApollo. The 0.15Ω doesn’t fit the dotStick Revo, Revo V1.5 or dotPod Max.
Which resistance should I pick?
Go by the rating: 60W to 80W for the 0.15Ω, 25W to 40W for the 0.3Ω and 18W to 22W for the 0.6Ω.
How many come in a pack?
Five of the resistance you choose, each in its own blister.
What are they made of?
Brass bodies with single mesh coils. The 0.3Ω coil is printed Mesh 316L.

I’ve gone through two packs of Dotcoil 0.7Ω coils, and my honest take is that they’re decent but nothing remarkable. They deliver light flavor, which works if that’s your preference. I’d recommend using an integrated tip with your Dotmod for the best experience and they pair especially well with the Dotmod V4 tank. Overall: 3 out of 5 stars.
