How to Change an M-Coil

Take the pod out: pull the pod out of the Tech247.
Swap the coil: pull the old M-coil out of the bottom of the pod and push the new one in.
Fill it: fill the pod from the top.
Let it soak: give the new coil a few minutes to soak before your first puff.
Set the power: stay inside the range printed on the coil.

Good to know: The ring at the base of each M-coil shows its version: red for 0.4Ω, orange for 0.6Ω and blue for 0.8Ω. Our SMOK coil compatibility guide shows which tanks and pods each coil fits.

What do M-coils fit?

The Tech247 pod, so the SMOK Tech247 kit. The box says they’re compatible with the Tech247 empty pod.

Which resistance should I pick?

The 0.4Ω runs at 19W to 22W, the 0.6Ω at 15W to 18W and the 0.8Ω at 11W to 14W, as printed on each coil. The Tech247 kit comes with the 0.8Ω and 0.6Ω.

How do I change a coil?

Take the pod out, pull the old coil out of the bottom of the pod and push the new one in. Fill the pod and let the coil soak for a few minutes.

How many come in a pack?

Five of the resistance you choose.

How do I tell them apart?

Each coil has its resistance and wattage printed on it, and a colored ring at the base: red for 0.4Ω, orange for 0.6Ω, blue for 0.8Ω.
