The 2.25-inch TFT screen shows the wattage, the pod’s resistance and the battery level, in one of four themes.

The ARCO Max takes four ARCO pods. SMOK gives each one a best use and an optimal wattage:

How to Set Up the ARCO Max

Charge it: charge the built-in battery with the USB-C cable from the box.
Fill the pod: pull the pod out, pull out the rubber plug and fill through the port, then press the plug back in firmly.
Let it soak: put the pod back and let the e-liquid soak the coil before your first puff.
Check the power: the ARCO Max suggests the optimal wattage for the pod, such as 21W for the 0.6Ω.
Set the airflow: use the slider on the back to tighten or open the draw.

Who the ARCO Max Is For

Which pods fit the ARCO Max?

SMOK’s ARCO pods: meshed 0.4Ω, 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω and 1.1Ω. The kit comes with the 0.6Ω (installed) and the 0.8Ω, and we sell all four as ARCO pods, 3 to a pack.

What wattage should I use?

SMOK’s optimal settings are 25W for the 0.4Ω, 21W for the 0.6Ω, 16W for the 0.8Ω and 10W for the 1.1Ω. The ARCO Max suggests it when you fit a pod, and you can adjust from 5W to 30W.

How does it fire?

SMOK lists auto draw: it fires when you inhale.

How do I change the screen theme?

SMOK says to press the power button 3 times to open the function menu, then long-press to confirm. The four themes are Ribbon, Rainbow, Pink and Turkey.

How do I fill the pod?

Pull the pod out, pull out the rubber plug and fill through the port. Press the plug back in firmly, put the pod back and let the coil soak before you vape.

How is it different from the SMOK Novo 6?

The Novo 6 has a 1700mAh battery, goes to 40W and takes Novo 5 pods. The ARCO Max has a 1300mAh battery, goes to 30W, takes ARCO pods and has a larger 2.25-inch screen.
