Nitecore makes smart battery chargers that detect each cell and pick the charging mode for it. They charge Li-ion and IMR cells such as 18650 and 21700, and most also take Ni-MH and Ni-Cd batteries.

At VSS you can shop the Nitecore CI2, CI4, UMS2, UMS4 and Q6, plus the Intellicharger New i2 and i4 and the Digicharger D2.

Nitecore CI and UMS Chargers

These four run on USB power. With an 18W quick charge adapter, each can put 3,000mA into a single slot.

• CI2: two slots and a USB-C input, with 1,500mA each when both are in use. Green LEDs show the charge level.
• CI4: four slots and a USB-C input, with 750mA each when all four are in use. Green LEDs show the charge level.
• UMS2: two slots and an LCD screen, with 2,000mA each in QC mode.
• UMS4: four slots and an LCD screen, with 1,000mA each in QC mode when all four are in use.

Nitecore Intellicharger, D2 and Q6

• Intellicharger New i2: two slots and an LCD screen, for Li-ion, IMR, LiFePO4, Ni-MH and Ni-Cd cells.
• Intellicharger New i4: four slots that tell Li-ion, Ni-MH and Ni-Cd cells apart on their own.
• Digicharger D2: two slots and an LCD display, with 500mA per slot on AC or 12V DC power.
• Q6: six slots for Li-ion and IMR cells, at 2A on two, 1A on four or 0.65A on all six. It runs on a 12V DC cord and works with a car adapter.
