Geekvape rates the 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω for restricted direct-to-lung (RDL) vaping, labels the 0.8Ω “MTL & RTL” and rates the 1.2Ω for mouth-to-lung (MTL). The boxes in our photo say mesh.
How to Use Geekvape J Coils
- Fit it: push the J coil into an empty JR pod.
- Prime it: fill the pod and let the coil soak for a few minutes before your first puff.
- Fit the pod: put the JR pod in your Digi Max or Digi Pro.
- Replace it: swap in a new coil when the taste turns burnt or flat.
Good to know: J coils fit the JR pod only. J pods have their own coil built in. Our coil compatibility guide shows which coils fit each Geekvape tank and kit.

Geekvape JR pods, which fit the Digi Max and Digi Pro. J pods have the coil built in and don’t take J coils.
What are J coils rated for?
Geekvape rates the 0.4Ω at 23W to 28W and the 0.6Ω at 16W to 21W, both for RDL. It labels the 0.8Ω, at 12W to 17W, MTL & RTL, and rates the 1.2Ω for MTL at 8W to 12W.
How many coils come in a pack?
Five, all the same resistance.
Are they mesh coils?
Yes. The J coil boxes say mesh.
How do I prime a new coil?
Fit it in the JR pod, fill the pod and wait a few minutes before your first puff.
