B Coils and Wattage

The Hero 5 cartridge takes Geekvape B coils from 0.2Ω to 1.2Ω. The wattages are Geekvape’s ratings.

The B0.4Ω Boost Version coil comes installed and a B0.2Ω Boost Version coil is in the box. The Hero 5 tops out at 50W, the low end of the B0.2Ω range. We carry Geekvape B coils in packs of 5, and the 6.5ml Aegis Hero cartridge on its own.

How to Set Up the Aegis Hero 5

1. Charge it: plug the Hero 5 into a USB-C charger.
2. Fill and prime: fill the cartridge from the top, then wait about 5 minutes, as Geekvape suggests, so the coil soaks.
3. Set the power: start at 25W for the installed B0.4Ω coil and work up. The B0.2Ω coil runs at the top setting, 50W.
4. Lock it: switch on the A-Lock before the Hero 5 goes in a pocket or bag.
