Prominent vs Solano
The FÜM Prominent has a maple barrel and a plain stainless steel mouthpiece.
The Solano has a walnut barrel and an Onyx Black mouthpiece, a titanium coating over stainless steel. FÜM says the difference is style only. Both open the same way, close with a magnet and have adjustable airflow.
How to Use the FÜM Prominent
- Open it: pull the mouthpiece and the barrel apart. The magnet holds them, so expect a little resistance.
- Insert a core: set the core in the cradle on the mouthpiece. Push it under the rim until it clicks against the spring.
- Set the airflow: put the barrel back on, then turn it until the draw feels right.
- Draw: breathe in through the mouthpiece.
- Change the core: FÜM says a core lasts about 2 to 3 days of repeated use, depending on the flavor. Clean the device each time you change cores.

USSolid cessation tool
So far so good. I will say the Spearmint flavor is a little odd at first when the flavor is at it's strongest. The Mint was good. Overall, I appreciate the quality and the ability to satisfy the habit institutions where I can't vape. It's also helped alleviate the urge to hit my vape. Like any cessation tool, it is hard to get into the mindset of using it regularly but once you've used it for a few days it really is helpful.
