Keep your vape pod system working well with the right replacement vape pods and cartridges. We carry refillable pods, pods with a built-in coil, empty pod cartridges and replacement pod tanks. They fit kits from SMOK, Geekvape, Vaporesso, OXVA, Uwell, VOOPOO, Freemax and more.
Most pods fit just one kit or one line of kits. You can’t pick one by its looks. Before you order, check the brand, the full name of your kit and the pod series. Then check the coil, the resistance and the pack size on the product page.
What Is a Replacement Vape Pod?
A replacement pod is the part of a pod kit that holds the e-liquid. It goes into the pod kit it fits. Some pods have the coil built in. Others take a coil that you put in on its own.
A new pod can bring back normal flavor, airflow and vapor. You don’t need a whole new kit. A spare pod also helps when you switch e-liquids or try another resistance.
Types of Replacement Vape Pods
Pods With a Built-In Coil
Pods with a built-in coil (also called integrated-coil pods) hold the e-liquid and the coil in one part. There is no coil to take out. When the coil wears out or the pod stops working well, you replace the whole pod.
This keeps things simple. You never have to touch a used coil. These pods may come in a few resistances. Each one has its own power range and airflow.
Empty Pod Cartridges
Empty pod cartridges are pods you reuse. They take a coil that you can swap. You keep the pod and change only the worn coil.
An empty pod may not come with a coil. Check the product title, the specs and what’s in the box. They show if you need to buy a coil too.
Replacement Pod Tanks
Replacement pod tanks fit a pod kit the way a pod does, but work more like a regular tank. Depending on the kit, a pod tank may hold more e-liquid. It may also have airflow you can adjust, or take more than one kind of coil.
Most pod tanks hold on with a magnet or a push-in fit made for one kit. They are not 510-thread tanks that fit anything. The one exception is when the maker says an adapter or a standard fitting comes with it.
Refillable Replacement Pods
Refillable replacement pods take bottled e-liquid. You can keep refilling one until its coil wears out. Where you fill it depends on the pod. The fill port may be on the top, the side or the bottom.
Close the fill port tight after you refill. Wipe off any e-liquid on the bottom of the pod before you put it back in the kit.
How to Choose the Correct Replacement Pod
The key step is to match the pod to the exact kit you own. The brand name alone is not enough. Most makers have more than one line of pods, each with its own shape, fit and coils.
- Check the name of your kit: Find the full model name on the kit, the box or the manual.
- Find the pod series: Look for the exact line of pods, such as XROS, Caliburn, Novo, Nord, Argus or XLIM.
- Check the coil type: See if the pod has a built-in coil or takes a coil you buy on its own.
- Pick a resistance your kit takes: Choose only from the ones the maker lists for your kit.
- Check how much it holds: The amount of e-liquid can vary by pod version or region.
- Check the pack size: Some products have one pod. Others come in packs of two or more.
When you replace a pod, look at the model or resistance printed on the old one. It’s a good guide. Then check it against the fit details on the new product page.
Choosing a Pod Resistance
The resistance of a pod can change the power it needs, the airflow, the warmth and the vapor. But it is only one part of the setup. The coil, the airflow, the power of the kit and its mode also shape how a pod works.
Higher resistance
Often runs at lower power and may give a tighter mouth-to-lung draw.
Mid-range
Often a balance of warmth, airflow, flavor and battery life.
Lower resistance
May take higher power and give a warmer, more open draw.
Two pods with the same resistance can still vape in different ways. They may have different coils or airflow. Follow the specs for the exact pod, not just the resistance.
When Should You Replace a Vape Pod?
How long a pod lasts depends on the e-liquid, the power, how often you vape and the coil. Think about a new pod or coil when you notice:
- A burnt or flat taste that won’t go away
- Much less vapor than before
- Gurgling, flooding or leaks that keep coming back
- E-liquid that turns very dark inside the pod
- A coil that works some days but not others
- Cracks or damage to the pod, the seal or the mouthpiece
If the pod takes a coil you can swap, check both parts before you replace the whole pod. A worn seal, a cracked pod or a loose fill-port cover can keep leaking, even with a new coil in place.
Tips for Using Refillable Vape Pods
- Prime a new coil or pod the way the maker’s instructions say.
- Keep the e-liquid above the wick holes on the coil.
- Use an e-liquid that suits the pod’s resistance and the power of your kit.
- Stay in the maker’s wattage range.
- Close the fill port tight after every refill.
- Wipe the base of the pod and the contacts in the kit often.
- Stop using a pod if it cracks, warps or no longer seals well.
Shop Vape Pods by Brand and Device
Shopping for vape pods by brand is a good place to start. But the pod series still has to match your kit. One maker may have several lines of pods that fit in different ways, hold different amounts and use different coils.
Browse our replacement vape pods by maker and pod series to find one that fits your kit. Each product page lists the resistance, how much the pod holds, the coil type and the pack size.
Replacement Vape Pods FAQ
What is a replacement vape pod?
A replacement vape pod is the part of a pod kit that holds the e-liquid. It fits one kit or line of kits. The pod may have a built-in coil or take a coil you can swap.
How do I know which replacement pod fits my device?
Match the pod to the exact brand, kit model and pod series on the product page. Then check the coil type, the resistance, how much it holds and what’s in the box.
Are replacement vape pods universal?
No. Most pods fit just one kit, and each has its own shape, airflow and coils. Even pods from the same maker may not swap between kits.
What is the difference between an integrated-coil pod and an empty pod?
An integrated-coil pod has the coil built in. When the coil wears out, you replace the whole pod. An empty pod takes a coil that you can swap on its own.
Do replacement pods include coils?
Some pods come with a built-in or preinstalled coil. Empty pods may not include one. Check the product title, the specs and what’s in the box before you order.
When should I replace my vape pod?
Replace the pod when the taste stays burnt or flat, the vapor drops or it keeps leaking. Also replace it if the pod has cracks or damage. A pod that takes a separate coil may only need a new coil, unless the pod itself shows wear.
Can I use any e-liquid in a refillable pod?
Not every e-liquid suits every pod. Pick one that suits the pod’s resistance, coil and airflow, and the power of your kit. The product specs can help.
How many pods come in a replacement pack?
It depends on the maker and model. Some products have one pod. Others have two, three or four. Check what’s in the box on each product page.
