How to Set Up the IPX80

Charge it: plug in the USB-C cable from the box.
Fit a coil: push the 0.16Ω mesh or the 0.6Ω DC MTL coil into the pod.
Fill the pod: take the pod out, pull the rubber plug, fill it and press the plug back in.
Wait: give the coil 5 minutes to soak, then put the pod back.
Set the power: use the up and down buttons to set a wattage within your coil’s rating, and turn the air-inlet ring to set the draw.

Who the IPX80 Is For

The SMOK IPX80 suits vapers who want a tough, big-battery pod mod for direct-lung or MTL vaping on RPM 2 coils. For something slimmer and lighter, see the RPM C.

Good to know: IP67 means the IPX80 is built to survive splashes, dust and drops. It isn’t made for use under water.

Which pods fit the IPX80?

IPX80 pods. The RPM 2 pod comes in the kit, and an RPM pod for RPM coils is sold separately. We sell IPX80 pods.

Which coils fit?

RPM 2 coils in the RPM 2 pod, or RPM coils in the RPM pod. The kit comes with the RPM 2 0.16Ω mesh (25W to 50W) and 0.6Ω DC MTL (12W to 25W).

How big is the battery?

3000mAh, built in. It charges over USB-C.

Is the IPX80 waterproof?

It’s IP67 rated against water splashes, dust and drops. Don’t use it under water.

Can I adjust the airflow?

Yes. Turn the air-inlet ring left for more air or right for less.

How do I fill the pod?

Smok IPX 80.

It’s the perfect size very comfortable in my hand. The leather and the rubberized sides are nice I won’t end up dropping it when it’s cold or doing yard work. I also like the adjustable airflow. I might have to buy a backup eventually. Received everything within a week which was nice. I’ll definitely buy from VSS again.
